After 6 long years, I've finally received my degree in Architecture.

It's this time of the year again! I've lent my hand to my classmates who had their thesis deliberation this year. Rach,Geda, Sor, Sikoy and Maxfer. We will tread on and march this March. :D

My application for graduation has been submitted. Now onto the final requirements. :D

Though only a few people that helped me, I am still glad and thankful for all the effort and support that these people gave me to make my thesis deliberation a success.

• First, I would like to thank God for letting me survive the past 4 months that has passed...and for the blessings that you have endowed us.
• I would like to thank my parents, Tzie Dmitri and Juanito R. Demetrio fo their constant prayers and support. Salamat sa trip to Singapore and laptop. lol
• Thank you Dhavid and Leo for helping me do the Cadd and 3d modeling (sa kadaghan sa akong buildings na makabuang na), for helping me pasting the boards and for the printing. You've been with me through thick and thin. Thanks~
• Thank you Michi Dumlao and Irene Garzo for the support, prayers and food lol. For accompanying us through the times of trouble and desolation. Your cheers and your laughter encouraged us. :D
• Thank you, Christopher Richard Salas, for helping me do the computations and R.O.I. :D

Thesis Preview

Our defense would be this 3rd week of February and the last endorsement will be on February 3. Last week has been full of graphic designs. I have occupied myself with graphic designs (posters, boards, logos, etc.). I have to have the creativity check first, since it will be scary if I was artistically dry. I think I kinda did well. Hahaha A sample of my work is the poster above. 

I finalized the concept boards, the brochure designs, the banners, the logo and the video concepts. My thesis proposal, Northern Mindanao Lumad Heritage Center, have posed some problem recently. I have to research more to be able to fill the gaps as of now. I am already nervous. Next week will be more crucial and my days would be busier than usual.

Thesis, Exams and Site Visitation

Spacing out.

This week is a whirlwind. Aside from the bad weather, thesis deadlines and final exams occupying my time,I still have an excuse to watch wrestling. Ah, not really. It all seems like my usual busy ARKI student HELL week. However, one thing that I really liked about my thesis is the fact that I can go on adventures.

What made me the busy this month is my thesis. My first task for this semester is to complete the book or the research. In order to complete this, I've been writing letters to Government Offices and I've been visiting them one by one. I've met different kinds of people. Some are kind and some are just simply rude. Well,  it's a very difficult task especially when you are walking under the scorching heat of the sun. lol I got a slight tan now. Most of the time, I'm walking rather than commuting. My legs are aching once I got home. At night, I just immediately pass out because of exhaustion.I've got a weird sleeping pattern also, so it did cause my health to waver...a bit. But, the whole government-department-hopping did give us a lot of experience as well as lessons on history and heritage.

School's near. I'll go back to my old routine and my updates might be quite sporadic. The photo was taken last March 30, 2011. It was just an hour before the defense and I was dead tired and nervous. It started at 4 pm and ended at 9 pm. It was very tiring.

I hope, I'm prepared for it.
