Thesis, Exams and Site Visitation

Spacing out.

This week is a whirlwind. Aside from the bad weather, thesis deadlines and final exams occupying my time,I still have an excuse to watch wrestling. Ah, not really. It all seems like my usual busy ARKI student HELL week. However, one thing that I really liked about my thesis is the fact that I can go on adventures.

My thesis had already took me to municipalities, different cites and even countries. It's quite obvious that I like to travel. lol So, my next destination is my Site for my proposed heritage center: Sitio Taguanao, Indahag, CDOC, Misamis Oriental, Mindanao. I'm going near the construction of the CDO International Convention Center that is soon to open next year. It's known that Indahag had so many slopes and caves around. Major historical events that occurred there. My father had been going there since his late teens for the excavation off artifacts from archaeological sites in Indahag. It will be my first time visiting the actual location so it is really exciting. Well, Indahag is an underdeveloped area. It has less infrastructures, underdeveloped roads and no proper urban planning. However it has a great tourism potential.

We went there through a cab last Sunday. We had to turn off the AC of the car since the road's slope is steep. We reached the top and can see a beautiful view of the city.

Since, people rarely visit or rarely bring vehicles around the area, local animals were actually curious about us. one calf smelled the car. I was almost attacked by the calf without my knowledge (thanks to my dad). hahaha the calf was cute. XD
