Tree Planting

Trying to plant this little one
As part of the World Architecture Day celebration, I joined the tree planting event last October 7, two days after the exhibit. Well, I liked doing some tree planting. It was kinda hot, but all in all an enjoyable task. We did get down and dirty for this.

World Architecture Day Exhibit

UAPGA and UAPSA representatives
The celebration spans three days. My thesis supposed to be part of the display, but later withdrawn due to some lack of exhibit space. lol Anyway I did enjoy the ribbon cutting and helping out the exhibit.

Friday the 13th

23rd Year of Existence with old friends
Hey! It's mein birthday~ So, I felt obliged to dress all in black with skull studs and 5-inch pumps. Yes, and meet up with my old friends at a Japanese restaurant. A five-hour talk is also refreshing. Hah!

Memories Awakened - Highlights on Surigao Visit 2013

My sister on the Pebble Beach
My visit to Surigao by the end of April awakened a lot of memories. This time, I'm with my sister who haven't visited Surigao for years. Together we journeyed on to Nanay's fish pond and Looc's pebble beach.

Homebound

One rainy afternoon. The poignant sight I see when the sun is setting. It's a call that I need to go home and rest my weary bones.

Profile Shots

Since the photo shoot last week,I haven't got the chance to share some of the profile shots Ate JM had. I also inserted the black and white photo from last year (I miss my wavy hair lol). We followed my usual routine in photo shoots: less smiles and no make-up. Hahaha, it never changes.

Four-day Photoshoot

The Sky by Ate JM

It has been a year ever since my last photo shoot. Good thing Ate JM is ready rock. She stayed in our house for four days to concentrate on taking photos and learning to use the Canon Eos DSLR. At first, we had a slow start, because we have to figure out how to use the camera. Later on, we were able to experiment. Yes, it was very experimental. Electric fans are very useful. lol

 Porch Lighting~
In our free time, we were overdosed by HG, No Laughing Hospital, Hiromi Go and Lea Salonga. Our cheeks are aching from laughing especially on HG and  the No Laughing Series. It really hurts. lol

Film Showing FOOOOO~!

Note:
Since Halloween is just around the corner, we have plans to have a party or a mini-reunion. Cooking is part of the list lol.

Little Venice

Looking at the ceiling makes me want to believe it is the sky.
Random people eating and talking at the food court.

I was looking back at photos from September 2010 and the photos from The Venetian, Macau just made me smile. I just want to visit that place again. When I first visited Macau for our tour, there is a different ambiance that I immediately noticed. The European influence is very apparent within the city. It is a place where western and eastern styles have merged.

One of my favorite visits in Macau was in The Venetian. The bus is free once you get out of the ferry terminal, so the travel from the terminal to the hotel was quite an eyeful tour.  When we arrived at the entrance, we were very amazed at the heavy Italian Renaissance design on site. Indeed, The Venetian is considered as a Little Venice inside a grandiose hotel.

Cirque du Soleil's ZAIA was there.♥
