Conceptual Rendering

After my trip to Cebu to study 3d design I began my own experiments on 3DS Max. I enjoyed making some tests but it takes quite some time and some sleep. I also made my own visual portfolio for this. Check it out sometime. :)

Pencils: Working on lines...

I've taken a long hiatus on drawing (except for school-related projects). I need money. That's why I decided to draw again. HAHAHAHAHA~

BAD Doodle: It's a bit HxH inspired sketchy-ness

Most of the time, I draw buildings and interiors, since that's my course. After a year of hiatus, I am trying to draw again. I am already rusty and one way to revive my artistic sense and put my skills on check is through fan art. My first check on my line work is during my Engineering Science Class: Theory of Structures. It was during a lecture..I didn't listen. My bad. It's a bit sketchy, but I'm trying to size-up how am I going to improve.

My lines have become edgy and static. Somehow, I'm bad at body proportions. I never though having a hiatus could [kind of] retarded my skills. To revive my aesthetic sense and to refine my skills, I've chosen some of my favorite artists' work. Something Soft, delicate and clean yet solid and proportioned. Something Seinen or Josei feel can help.

Pencils: My Yoon Mi-Kyung FanArt

I chose Yoon Mi-Kyung and Shou Tajima as references since they have neat line work. I'm still working on refining mine. lol

I did single line penciling instead of finishing it, since it looks cleaner than my finished artworks.

So I've known the artist ~ 

Her username is Miitaro. She is an artist from Japan. Recently, she was one of the people who were affected by the great eastern earthquake, but she's safe. It's amazing that she only uses pencils for her artworks.

Superb Colored Pencil Skills

I just came across his/her artworks. His/her main medium are the pencils (colored or monochromatic). I loved his/her rendering skills, however, I never really knew his/her name. 

Perhaps, I will find out sooner or later.
