Little Venice

Looking at the ceiling makes me want to believe it is the sky.
Random people eating and talking at the food court.

I was looking back at photos from September 2010 and the photos from The Venetian, Macau just made me smile. I just want to visit that place again. When I first visited Macau for our tour, there is a different ambiance that I immediately noticed. The European influence is very apparent within the city. It is a place where western and eastern styles have merged.

One of my favorite visits in Macau was in The Venetian. The bus is free once you get out of the ferry terminal, so the travel from the terminal to the hotel was quite an eyeful tour.  When we arrived at the entrance, we were very amazed at the heavy Italian Renaissance design on site. Indeed, The Venetian is considered as a Little Venice inside a grandiose hotel.

Cirque du Soleil's ZAIA was there.♥
Overlooking the canal is the famous bridge shown on one popular Kdrama.

This view is a reminiscent of Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice's setting.

Souvenir shops and boutiques are found on the ground floor.

The Gondola rides are quite expensive, but it is indeed magical.
You can add coins for the  person stirring the Gondola to sing Opera songs

I love this bridge. Sometimes, people would sing
Opera randomly on the second floor through the windows.

The arcade beside the canal is such a lovely scene and
an architectural  example of Renaissance Italy.

Mimi at the Little Venice.

I did not have enough sleep the day before the trip and the travel by sea was kinda rocky so I wasn't really in best shape. However, whatever I've seen and experienced in Macau brought back my energy. It was such a magical tour inside the Little Venice. :D

I love my school for having me given this opportunity to visit other countries like this~!
