A promise under the big tree

It's not really my hobby to watch Korean dramas, but mom always watches them non-stop. Most of the time, I don't watch the drama she watches online, however, this particular drama caught my attention. For over the years, most of the dramas that have become popular are love-comedies and often, they are not my cup of tea. But this particular drama made me interested and instead of ignoring the show, I sit with my mom to watch it online lol.

This heartwarming drama reminds me of Tree of Heaven's "finding Oppa". It has a bittersweet story, but it's funny at times. The story is about  a man who’s been rendered deaf after an accident but pretends he can hear, and a woman who’s intelligent but pretends she’s dim-witted to protect the dignity of her mentally handicapped father. The story is very heartwarming. Though its genre is romance, there is more filial love than romance in it...and bromance. XD It's not the usual bad guy wins the girl thing. 

It's a nice watch if you like family dramas.
